Questions about running a compliant sales floor
Questions before you start.
What it is
Is nohl just another CRM?+
No. A CRM stores contacts; nohl runs the floor — one login for a compliance-first dialer, a CRM with Bag Score lead ranking, two-way texting and email, and video meetings. Built for independent insurance agencies, not a horizontal tool with an “insurance” label bolted on.
How is this different from the big horizontal tools?+
Three ways. It's built for insurance agencies specifically, not generic sales teams. Compliance is the product, welded into the core instead of buried in your terms of service (read your current tool's — most put the TCPA risk on you). And it's an AI sales OS: leads ranked, follow-ups run, every call transcribed and tagged.
Do you provide leads?+
No — we're not a lead vendor. We make the leads you already buy worth more: numbers that aren't spam-flagged, calls that get answered, and a dialer that works your list for you.
Who is this for?+
Independent life-insurance agencies — owners and builders with roughly 5–50 reps — and the individual producers on their teams.
Compliance
What does a “compliant dialer” actually mean — what do you handle vs. what's on me?+
The machinery is built in: A2P 10DLC registration, STIR/SHAKEN call authentication, number-reputation and spam-flag monitoring, per-state calling windows, and searchable call recordings. You control your lists, your consent, and who you contact.
Am I liable if my reps call or text people who never opted in?+
You can be. TCPA liability doesn't always stop at the rep — when the agency supplies (or even recommends) the tools, it can land on the agency. That's vicarious liability, and many popular dialers push exactly that risk onto you in their terms. (We're not your lawyers — but ask your current tool who's holding the risk.)
What is A2P registration, and why can't my reps just start texting?+
A2P (“application-to-person”) registration is how US carriers verify business texting. Unregistered texting gets filtered and gets your numbers flagged. Registration is part of setup — one of those steps nobody warns new agents about.
Will this stop my numbers from getting spam-flagged?+
Number reputation is a core feature here, not an afterthought — reputation checks, spam monitoring, and protection are built in. If your calls “ring out” today, flagged numbers are usually why. Answered calls are the whole point.
Does nohl make me TCPA-proof?+
No tool can honestly promise that — be suspicious of any that does. What we do: make the compliant setup the path of least resistance, and keep call recordings you can search when you need to know what was said. For your specific situation, talk to counsel.
Setup & getting live
How long until my team is actually live and dialing?+
It depends mostly on carrier registration, which is not on our clock. Onboarding walks the checklist with you in-app from the moment you sign in, so nothing sits waiting on an email back.
What do I actually need to get set up?+
What carriers require of any business that calls and texts: a business entity (LLC), a domain and business email, and your registration details. New reps almost never know this — so the exact checklist, walked through with you, is part of setup.
What happens to my current data?+
We import it with you during setup — contacts, pipelines, and history — so you're not starting from zero.
Pricing & plans
What's the difference between Rainmaker and Mogul?+
Rainmaker ($199/mo) is the producer's cockpit: Velo Dialer, Sales AI, CRM with Bag Score lead ranking, texting, video meetings, calendar and email. Mogul ($399/mo) is everything in Rainmaker plus Team Growth — AI-enabled recruiting, position management, and interviews — for the owner running the organization.
How does the trial work?+
14 days, then $199/mo for Rainmaker or $399/mo for Mogul. Cancel anytime. You bring your own carrier, so anything they charge for numbers or usage comes from them directly - never from us.
Do I have to pay for A2P and phone numbers?+
Not to us. You bring your own carrier account, so numbers, A2P registration and usage are billed to you directly by the carrier. We never bill it, mark it up, or take a cut - we just walk you through the setup.
How does pricing work as I add reps?+
Each producer is a seat on the agent plan; agencies run on Mogul. We keep dollar figures on the pricing page so they're always current — check there for the latest.
AI & proof
Does it have AI coaching?+
AI lead ranking — Bag Score (Apex · Precision · Oracle) — is live today, along with Sales AI and AI transcripts on every call. We only sell what's live.
What results do other agencies see?+
We only publish numbers we can stand behind, and we're early — so instead of a stat, we'll show you the platform live on your own use case.
